TakeFullPage - Full Page Screenshot & Screen Capture (short name: TakeFullPage) is a browser extension designed for capturing complete scrollable webpages or custom selected screen areas, extracting text (OCR), editing, annotating, exporting to PNG/PDF, copying to clipboard, or optionally sharing screenshots.

1. Information the Extension Handles

• Website content: Webpage content is captured as an image solely when you explicitly initiate a full-page or selected-area screenshot capture.
• Screenshot data: The captured image is held locally in memory so you can edit, annotate, crop, copy, or export it.
• OCR Text Recognition: Optical character recognition (extracting text from screenshots) is executed 100% locally inside your browser on your device using local WebAssembly. Images and extracted text are never sent to external OCR APIs.
• Annotation & Tool Preferences: Editor preferences (such as brush sizes, colors, and output choices) are saved locally on your device via chrome.storage.local.
• Optional Telegram credentials: If you choose to configure the optional Telegram forwarding feature, your bot token and chat ID are stored locally on your device via chrome.storage.local.

2. 100% Local Processing & Zero Tracking

All screenshot capturing, area selection, image editing, drawing annotations, OCR text extraction, blur redactions, and PDF generation occur 100% locally inside your browser on your device.

The extension does NOT collect, track, store, or transmit your browsing history, web activity, personal identification, or cookies. There are zero third-party analytics or tracking scripts included.

3. Cloud Upload & Share Links (User-Initiated Only)

The extension includes an optional feature allowing you to generate an instant shareable link for your captured screenshot. This upload process is strictly user-initiated.

Screenshots are NEVER uploaded automatically or in the background. An image is transmitted to the cloud hosting provider only when you explicitly click the "Get Link" / "Upload & Share" button.

4. Optional Telegram Sharing

Telegram sharing is completely optional and is never automatic. Only when you explicitly configure your own Telegram bot credentials and click the Telegram button, the selected screenshot file is transmitted directly to the official Telegram Bot API (https://api.telegram.org).

The extension does not send screenshots to Telegram or any other server unless you explicitly click the Telegram sharing button.

5. Data Sale and Transfer

We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or transfer your data to any third parties outside of the approved single purpose. Data is never used for advertising, determining creditworthiness, lending, or any purpose unrelated to the single purpose of screen capturing and editing.

6. Data Retention & Removal

Locally stored extension settings and optional Telegram bot credentials can be cleared at any time directly from the extension settings or by uninstalling the extension.

7. Security

TakeFullPage is engineered with a local-first architecture. All capturing and editing take place locally on your machine, ensuring complete privacy of your browsing sessions.
